Luther’s Story

After committing an armed robbery to fund his rap career, Luther Collie faced a 25-year prison sentence. Days after his arrest, he ran into a childhood friend who he hadn’t seen in years. His friend told him about a hope that transcended his physical bars - a relationship with Christ.

His newfound hope in the Lord changed his life forever and gave him the courage to disciple and mentor other inmates, all while getting a master’s degree in theology. He has also partnered with Life Without Limbs and their prison ministry to lead the “Free in My Faith” curriculum behind bars.

Luther is slated to get out in 2024.
